From June 7-9, 2023, the first EU training was held at the Ghent campus of KU Leuven. Project partners from the Western Balkans had the opportunity to see for themselves the effectiveness of the internationalization strategy of this university, as well as to attend a workshop held by the internationalization at home expert prof. dr Jan Van Maele.
Representatives of the Medical Faculties of the Western Balkans, participants in the project, visited laboratories and departments, but also had the opportunity to talk with international students and staff of this university. The visit was organized in the direction of creating awareness among project partners from the Western Balkans about different ways of organizing the internationalization at home model.
