Faculty of Dental Medicine (F.D.M.) is part of the University of Medicine, Tirana, Albania. It was founded as the Department of Dentistry in 1959. In 2013 the University of Medicine was founded and the Department of Dentistry was structured into the Faculty of Dental Medicine (FDM). It is UNIQUE and it is the LARGEST and Only PUBLIC Faculty in Tirana. The Mission of FDM is educating students in all three study cycles in accordance with the highest professional standards; The realization of all theoretical-practical courses of dentistry. At the end the undergraduate students should be able to realize all clinical procedures on patients. The graduated students should be capable of dealing with the requisites of the medical system in general and especially of the dental system by fulfilling the demands of the working environment. One of the main goals of our institution is preparing dental professionals to aim at the prevention and treatment of dental pathologies; achieving high standards in health care as well as stimulating to promote scientific research. Faculty of Dental Medicine is composed of 3 Departments: Prosthetic, Conservative Dentistry and Oro maxillo-facial Surgery Department and it includes the University Dental Clinic (U.D.C.). F.D.M consists of 23 lecturers; of whom 6 Professors, 5 Associated Professors, 12 PhD-s; 30 part-time lecturers and 800 students. The staff of University Dental Clinic contributes in the education process and it is composed of 10 general dentists, 15 nurses, 8 laboratory technicians and 1 orthodontic laboratory technician. U.D.C. has 3 clinical rooms for the student practice of the courses of Prosthetic, 5 clinical rooms for the student practice of Conservative and Endodontics, 3 pre-clinical rooms and 1 laboratory of prosthetics. Oro-maxillo-facial surgery Department is divided into Oral Surgery, (part of the University Dental Clinic), and Maxillo-facial Surgery, (part of the University Hospital Center "Mother Teresa"). The main study Program is "Master of Science in Dentistry" with the duration of 5 years. There are also two undergraduate programs: Dental Hygienist and Lab Technician. Also in the Faculty of Dental Medicine, there are included post-graduated studies such as: Specialization of Conservative Dentistry, Paediatrics Dentistry, Oro Maxillo-facial Surgery and the defense of PhD (Doctor of Medicine Sciences). In F.D.M. and U.D.C. can be treated a total of approximately 18 000 patients / year. University Dental Clinic, part of our Faculty is the largest University public Clinic in Albania. It is the only public Clinic where treatments are free of charge in the following departments: therapeutic, endodontic, oral surgery, maxillofacial surgery and services are offered with minimum prices in fixed and removable Prosthetic and Orthodontics. Prosthetic treatment is offered free of charge for patients who are in asylum or disabled. For children below the age of 18 years old all clinical treatments are free of charge. This Clinic has the capacity to diagnose and treat a very large number of patients from all the parts of Albania in one year. On the average, we have realized 650 fixed and removable prosthetic appliances (while the capacity is until 1100), 150 orthodontic appliances, 2500 dental extractions, 950 surgical interventions, 1500 fillings etc.

“Luigj Gurakuqi” University of Shkodra was established on 02. Sept. 1957 as a High Pedagogical Institute. At the beginning this University had 2 Faculties (Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Natural Sciences).
It changed its status to University of Shkodra, "Luigj Gurakuqi" by the Ministers' Council decree nr. 124, on 28.05.1991.
University of Shkodra has now 6 Faculties (Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Educational Sciences, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Foreign Languages).

UNIVERSITY OF MONTENEGRO (MONTENEGRO)
The University of Montenegro (UoM) was founded in 1974. It is the oldest institution of higher education in Montenegro with more than 20,000 students. It is the largest and the only comprehensive university education institution in the country, comprised of 19 faculties and 2 scientific institutes.
The Faculty of Medicine (FoM) of the UoM was founded 20 years ago and employs 54 people, out of which 21 researchers (Ph.D.). It is the only institution of higher education in the country responsible for education of Medical Doctors, Doctors of Stomatology and Pharmacy as well as for higher education of nurses and applied physiotherapy. The majority of students are enrolled into one of the 3 professional tracks: 329 to the School of Medicine, 142 to the School of Dentistry and 203 to the School of Pharmacy. The Faculty offers a 3-year Ph.D. programme, with the Cell Biology and Molecular Genetics as core subjects. Faculty of Medicine is primarily an academic institution, but scientific research and participation in policy making as well as development of medical doctrines and protocols are also its important functions.
In accordance with world trends Faculty of Medicine, UoM, is continuously improving the quality of the teaching process using modern methodologies, in order for our future physicians to be recognised by acquired knowledge and skills based on learning outcomes, while preserving academic integrity, which is stimulating environment for science and research.
The primary mission of FoM is to create competent professionals, who will be the backbone of the health system of Montenegro, linking the quality of health care, scientific work and development of society in general.

UNIVERSITY OF EAST SARAJEVO (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)
The University of East Sarajevo (UES) is an interdisciplinary, independent and self-governing institution, consisting of the 15 faculties and the two academies. UES has about 1,000 teachers, 10,000 students, and offer about 110 study programs at the level of Bachelor, Master, long-cycle master’s and Doctoral studies. UES has over 90 bilateral agreements signed with partner universities from Europe and the world. These bilateral agreements regulate different types of cooperation, such as work on subjects and projects of common interest, exchange of scholars and students, joint publications, exchange of information and other activities in order to improve the academic cooperation. UES is a member of several university networks and international associations (EUA, UniAdrion, Danube Rectors’ Conference). UES participated in TEMPUS projects since 2000, FP6 programmes; and other international project - such as project dealing with Brain Drain in West Balkan Countries, USAID projects, Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, World Bank programmes, and IPA projects. UES is the largest institution in the geographical area it occupies (9 towns) and possesses great human resources and infrastructural capacities. UES is first accredited HEI in Bosnia and Herzegovina (2013), and re-accreditation was done in 2019. UES got HR excellence in research code by European Commission as committed university which striving to adopt European Charter principles and Codes for employment of researchers.

UNIVERSITY OF MOSTAR (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)
University of Mostar (SUM) is a higher education institution which organizes and performs university studies, scientific and professional work. It is one of eight public Universities in B&H and the only one where Croatian is used as the official language. The University is founded by cantons in which the Croatian people are dominant. It consists of 10 faculties and the Academy of Fine Arts. Today, over 16000 students study at the University of Mostar. University of Mostar is internationally oriented and its intention is to become fully integrated into the European Higher Education Area. From the academic year 2005/2006, teaching process at the University of Mostar is conducted in accordance to Bologna process. IRO is responsible for interuniversity cooperation programmes and agreements, cooperation and contacts with relevant international organizations, exchange programmes and the management of international relations.
University of Mostar has a numerous participation in the regional and international projects, with special accent on the European projects. All project participations were very successful with expected outcomes.
School of Medicine (MEFMO) as the part of the University of Mostar has a direct or indirect participation in all university project so its staff has all references and experience for successful management and participation in project implementation. School of Medicine has three undergraduate study programs (Medical studies in Croatian language, Medical studies in English and dental medicine) and one postgraduate studies (Biomedicine and Health).
The university staff achieved a big experience in the participation and project management. The most participations are related to the high education European structure projects: TEMPUS, ERASMUS, IPA-INTERREG. MEFMO participated in all projects of the University of Mostar. Also, University of Mostar and School of Medicine as its part, has a numerous successful project participation in European mobility projects: CEEPUS, ERASMUS MUNUDUS-JOINEUSEE, etc.
MEFMO as the part of University of Mostar has all necessary capacities and resources to manage and conduct its role in the implementation of this project as the project partner.
UNIVERSITY OF TUZLA (BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA)
The University of Tuzla is a public higher education institution which was established in 1976. The University of Tuzla is currently in the process of obtaining institutional accreditation from the Cantonal Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
In 2001 the University of Tuzla became the first integrated University in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The teaching is organized in three cycles, in line with the Bologna Process, and the University offers more than 80 study programs in bachelor, master’s and doctoral studies in 12 faculties and Academy of Performing Arts. Currently, there are around 16.000 students studying at the University of Tuzla in all cycles of studies. The University employs 720 academic and administrative staff members.
The University of Tuzla has signed over 40 cooperation agreements with the universities worldwide and is focused on developing relationships with the academic community and strengthening the international process. The University has participated in a number of international mobility and research projects, such as Erasmus Mundus, Ceepus, Tempus, Mevlana, FP6, FP 7, IPA and many more.
